Detroit Public Television Moves to Wixom From Detroit

RIP to DPTV. Detroit Public Television has fled the city for the more "prominent" location of Wixom, MI. Yeah it's old news by now but DetroitBazaar couldn't move forward without a moment of silence- We're not sure if we can support the station like we used to. This might be a lesson to the Detroit "leadership". Lower the taxes and work harder to keep what's worth keeping. It's been many years since the other television stations(besides WDIV) left for Southfield and many radio stations did the same but how could you avoid working your tails off to keep one of the last? When a devoted media presence for 50 years decides Wixom is a more visible location, something is very wrong.

Peace to Detroit,
DetroitBazaar
