"There is a house in New Orleans...

they call the Rising Sun. It's been the ruin of many a poor boy. And me, Oh Lord! was one."

So, all of you that read our blog know that we try not to get too political, but enough is enough. It's been over 4 years now and the Bush Tunnel is only getting darker. When will America as a whole 'wake up' and see the light? What's the word we are looking for? Oh yeah.....IMPEACH!

Here are a few quotes from the New York Times:
"Degenerates roamed the city, shooting at rescue workers, beating and robbing distraught residents and tourists, raping women and girls. The president of the richest, most powerful country in the history of the world didn't seem to notice."

"He would have noticed if the majority of these stricken folks had been white and prosperous. But they weren't. Most were black and poor, and thus, to the George W. Bush administration, still invisible."

For the whole article go to NY Times

That's but one of how many articles we must read on the truth of the man who is supposed to be running (not RUINING) our country?

Besides Mr Bush (we refuse to call him our president), Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff refuses to resign over the handling of Hurricane Katrina Relief. To read and watch more of his interview with Tim Russert, the host of Meet the Press, go to Decomracy, NOW!

And how about this video clip?
Aaron Broussard gives his reaction to the explanation given by Homeland Security Director, Michael Chertoff. If that doesn't choke you up...we wanna know where your heart is.

How about FEMA? Can they do anything right? Look here to see for yourself. It seems as if they are turning help away from every direction. Aren't they supposed to be helping?
FEMAwon't accept Amtrak's help in evacuations

FEMA turns away experienced firefighters

FEMA turns back Wal-Mart supply trucks

FEMA prevents Coast Guard from delivering diesel fuel

FEMA won't let Red Cross deliver food

FEMA Tens of millions of dollars in foreign help is delayed

FEMA Its Chief Waited Until After Storm Hit

...and that list goes on! Have a look at the Constructive Interference blog

Let's just be thankful that so many people have the love in their hearts to donate their time and money to help our sister states in this time of need. The individual volunteers, The Red Cross, the Salvation Army and soooo many more...we applaud you.

And how about a look at this site. This is some amazing work that these people are doing. Please, stop by and atleast give it a look. You, our dear readers and friends can make a difference.

Hurricane Housing

Help is even coming from our home state. As quoted, “Michigan is ready – with open arms – to provide families who have lost all of their worldly possessions a safe, comfortable place to stay while their homes, their communities, and their lives are being rebuilt,” Granholm said. “For as long as it takes, they will be part of our Michigan family thanks to the generosity of communities and businesses throughout the state.”

Finally is a chilling interview done with Alex Jones, a radio host out of Austin, Texas with Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury under Ronald Reagan of all people, Paul Craig Roberts. We'll let him speak for himself here without our commentary:
Read the article and click the related audio interview link to hear it in full. Paul Craig Roberts has also written an article titled "Impeach Bush Now, Before More Die"

Read Paul Craig Roberts here or Here

There are indeed many more sources of evidence around us and we certainly have not even heard the half of it all yet. Remember some of the reasons people were left behind- poverty and government disregard- and continue to fight for those that are less fortunate than you no matter where in our land they call home. Order out of chaos is not our only choice.

When we hear about the corruption and the misuse of funds in the months to come, know who to blame directly. We wish the people of the south and the nation the ability to rebound and recover. We wish everyone that has lost anything the strength to regain. May your hearts burn warmly. May our souls heal.

"Going back to New Orleans, My race is almost run. Going back to spend the rest of my days, Beneath that Rising Sun."

Peace to you all.

Thank you Tony and flash!topian. We have our heads up to be sure and yes we need to get that criminal out. Let's hope the next one, republican or democrat is not a criminal either. We need to focus on what we truely believe as right. Politicians and governments in general tend to neglect the fact we, as individuals and communities, elect for change. Perhaps there are other options but what we've learned here is that we need to get educated , And Fast!

Peace to you,
