The White Stripes Go Shopping

The White Stripes record label, V2, has decided to stop releasing new albums, and instead are focusing only on maintaining its back catalogue. Jack and Meg are now searching for a new record label, which will allow them to distribute any future releases on Jacks Third Man Records. Rumor has it that the band is indeed working on new material, but there is no word on when a new album may be released.

You guys have the greatest logo in Detroit's blog world! You're awesome when you post so keep it up ok? Are the White Stripes going to go through with another album? Another show in town? They have so much to offer but unfortunately the city seems to be just a distant home. Take care Detroit Bazaar.
