DetroitBazaar wants to bring the people of Detroit together to build a stronger community in which we can thrive once again! Looking back and remembering that Detroit was once a city full of culture and pride, we long to relive that point in history. Volunteering to flight blight, getting involved in the Detroit music and entertainment scene including recording, documentary films and photography, walking the streets and getting to know locals and business owners, putting on benefits, as well as through donations, charity, volunteer work and the help of others who feel the same, we believe that Detroit can be revitalized and put back on the map as a respectful city that people around the world can come to visit and enjoy all of what it has to offer.

I strongly believe that anyone that is a smoker is slowly committing suicide. I am a non smoker and avoid all bars that allow smoking. I strongly oppose the bill as it strips us of our freedom. It should be the choice of the business owner if he wants smoking on his property or not. While I do not like smoking I have the choice to avoid these businesses that allow smoking. I do not want the government making this choice for me.
Banning smoking in public eateries and bars strips us of our freedom? It's possibly one of the only smart moves our government it making. Sure, you can avoid those places that allow smoking, but does that make it fair? So if one of my favorite restaurants allows smoking, I should have to avoid it because I am sickened by second hand smoke? And don't even mention the non smoking sections, since they are basically in the same area and the smoke just lingers.
So, based on your point of view, smokers should have more rights then non smokers?
I'm with DetroitBazaar on this one!
It's only a matter of time before MI will be smoke free!
